You know you're a knitting fool when...

I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's today. And what caught my eye? Holly Go-lightly's fractured brilliance? The luminous script? The diamonds? George Peppard? (not really, but pretty eyes) The New York setting? Yes... all these things but what really made me sit up and take notice was Audrey Hepburns knitting technique.

Oh deary me...

Sian- there's alot of knitting in movies- I'm fascinated by it.

I'm always sad when she lets the kitty out in the rain.

Sad! I was horrified! and the taxi driver and ole George just sit there and let her do it! Don't turn a hair! My gosh...

But hey, it's Holly innit? And the cat comes back. (silly blighter)

What other movies have knitting in them? This was the first example I've noticed.

Oh, I just watched this movie last Saturday night. I'd never seen it before (believe it or not!). Yes, her knitting technique was quite something, wasn't it! Quite incongruent with the character, but it made things interesting just the same.

Hope you are having a great day!
