This Morning

This is Wenallt Farm doing its Brigadoon impression. I took this while standing on my doorstep early this morning. Because there is a river running through the valley we get some beautiful misty mornings when the season starts to turn. August is early for mists but it has been such a freaky summer. It wouldn't surprise me if we have a heatwave in September.

Sian- What a beautiful sight to wake up to.
We're having a heatwave in Toronto right now- I'd much prefer a snow storm.

I love Brigadoon! And that would be a lovely thing to see first thing in the morning. Make it all that much easier to get up in the mornings.

I would love to see a Canadian snowstorm Lorraine... as long as I was inside, safe and warm, preferably with some hot chocolate and a log fire :)

Nicole, I can see this when lying in bed too so it isn't always necessary to get up in the mornings :)

Oh, Lord, that is a mighty gorgeous photo. I can't believe how green with envy I am over your surroundings.

BTW, on another subject, I am tagging you for a meme.

Patty, the history of this valley is enough to get you dreaming. Check out Alexander Cordell's book, Song of the Earth. It is terrific.

Patois, this is possibly the most beautiful valley in Wales :)And yes I am delighted I live here...Thanks for the tag. I like memes
