Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

I know, an oldie but still useful - especially when Eden swipes my super sharp embroidery scissors from my work basket and gives Lily a little light trim.

Lily now looks like a patchwork monk.
And ask me when school photos are due... that's right. Next week.

I remember cutting my own hair when I was younger, my mom nearly had a cow......I looked like Alfalfa for a while :o) I wore headbands for months until the hair grew back out.....haha

Sian- My daughter did that when I was in the bath- to herself- and her photo was the next morning.

She had to go to the stylists- it really was a disaster.

Ooooh, kids!

*snort & giggle* Oh no!!!! Oh, I hope that in the coming week y'all can find a way to cover over the mutilated spot and make the pictures look good. OMG!!! I remember getting my butt BUSTED good, when I did this. I was sitting in the back seat of Mom's car, heading home from shopping for kindergarden supplies with my great new scissors. I decided my bangs needed a trim (lucky I didn't put an eye out) and cut them VERY short. Mom saw me in the rear-view and asked me if I'd given myself a hair-cut. Of course I lied and denied it. *snort* She told me that she was diasppointed I'd cut my own hair, but upset that I'd lied about it. I got busted more for the lying than for the actual cutting. *shaking head* Oooooh, the things kids do.

Seriously, though, I DO hope that the hairstyle can be salvaged enough for picture day. And I hope that once was enough for your Eden to learn that haircuts are best left to professionals. Or at least, to Mom.

I have managed to salvage Lily's hair a little. Though it will probably be at least a year before it is back to how it was. I think I may be ready for my place in the padded cell by then.

Oh and Cyril, I did think about watching Sweeney Todd but then saw the clip of Jonny Depp singing... I think I'd prefer sitting through a zombie flick to having to suffer that.
:D
