Dying update

Remember the camel down and tussah silk that I dyed? Well here it is all washed, dried and sweet smelling. It is quite chunky and I can't wait to start work with it. I have a few things to finish before then though. But I am hoping to have this made up by the end of the month.

I guess the silk takes the dye at a different rate?
I'm working with some silk/wool and I like the effect. Very rich.

Greg: Keep asking, you never know your luck! :)

POD: Ahem...as I recall, you urged me not to dye it. But thanks anyway :D

T.Doll: It is beautifully soft and very very warm! Just what you need right now :)

Lorraine: I guess so. I was despairing of the camel taking it at all actually, but I think it turned out quite well. I'd like to have another go with red.
