One Single Impression - Through the Window

This is what I have outside my window. July in Wales, being what it is of course, means that right now my lovely view has been obliterated by rain clouds... So the 'ku below is what I see through my window today...

Rain, mist, mountain, green.
Starlings huddle muttering -
Where has Summer gone?

Check out what others are seeing through theirs at One Single Impression

I like the view Sian. All of our clouds these days are accompanied but severe lightening.

I think it is a lovely view. We are have a hot spell here in New England, so it really looks good. I enjoyed your haiku.

Looks like you have a beautiful view in any weather - love mist, fog, cloud, whatever, so perfectly reflected in your words. I'll be a regualr visitor(and thank you for your comments to me as well!)

I love the photo and long to be in that place as the Alabama summer pounds on me. The haiku is also wonderful and the second like is great.

This is a wonderful expression of seeing the best of that which lies beyond your window. What a view. Thanks for the glimpse into your quiet beauty.

What a soothing feeling your haiku brings. I embrace the changes of the seasons, albeit subtle changes here in the deep south.

I enjoyed that very much. Thanks for this. We too have had chronic rain! Perhaps we will find the sun again soon.

Even with rain and clouds, the view looks beautiful. I love your haiku. I can just see a flock of birds gathered in discussion. I was thinking the other day as it rained on and off all day and my neighbor's yard was covered in birds, that certain kinds of rainy day must be a birds idea of party weather since it brings the worms above ground.
