Just this second I have seen a hummingbird. With my own two eyes, a hummingbird in Sadie's garden. Amazing! It was tiny, about the same size as a wren, emerald green with a cotton white throat, sipping at a rose. Who needs fire flies when there are humming birds to be had?

Hmmm. I didn't realize hummingbirds were such a commodity. We have a feeder for them in our back yard, and I get to see them quite often. I'll try to get a picture of one for you sometime. But they are lovely, aren't they?
Hummingbirds are my favourite. And they have zero chance of surviving Britain. I never thought I would see one outside of a zoo or bird garden.
aww that's sweet. Did you see a cowboy?? Can't wait for all the tales of adventure.
See you after the weekend

Wow! You would love it in the state of Washington. We see hummingbirds many times in a day, especially now that we have planted trumpet vines. Aren't they a beautiful bird?
